NextPage Product Suite

NextPage Edge Applications

The NextPage Product Suite automates Information Governance by enforcing policies on documents everywhere in an organization. To accomplish this, it begins tracking documents and their classifications from the moment they are created—and continues tracking them throughout their entire lifecycle.

In virtually every organization, documents originate in many different ways, and then morph and proliferate throughout the organization. They typically migrate through users’ hard drives, email inboxes, network drives, removable drives, and document repositories such as Microsoft® SharePoint®. Unlike conventional centralized repositories or simple network drive storage, NextPage tracks your digitaal assests inside, outside and between these customary storage and collaboration repositories - including the relationship between copies and versions of these documents throughout each documents lifecycle. As a result, we can pervasively apply highly targeted, rule-based actions to documents no matter where they are created or stored and how ever many times they are moved through the workflow.

Enterprises can combine these actions into policies that perfectly match their specific needs for improving compliance and reducing risk.

NextPage Control governs the retention and disposal of enterprise documents. An agent on each end user’s machine can retain important business IP, destroy working copies, or sweep final copies to a centralized archive. It does all of this according to administrator-defined policies that are designed to reduce enterprise storage, decrease the cost of e-discovery, and ensure compliance. The agent works with the centralized service to provide a complete picture of documents across the enterprise.
With NextPage Monitor, enterprises also gain an aggregated view into all of the documents scattered across their systems. For example, a Chief Legal Officer can see the status of all copies of all documents regarding a specific legal matter, a records manager can see if files from a specific project have been properly deleted from users’ hard drives and shared drives, and a project manager can ensure that final copies are all restored to a central repository like SharePoint®.
The NextPage platform consists of an Information Tracking Platform, a Repository Abstraction Layer, and NextPage Enforce™.
Control Plus extends the enterprise control of information to all storage locations. NextPage has Control Plus available for Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum and Lotus Domino and has an easily extensible framework for all other repositories.
